The Conscious Table was born from a shared belief that food is more than sustenance — it’s a gateway to connection, healing, and honest conversation.
Born from the collaboration of a chef, coach, and operations exec, this is immersive dining designed to nourish your body and gently challenge your intellect — all in the spirit of deeper connection
Rooted in plant-based culinary innovation, global mindfulness practices, and community-driven leadership, each dinner is a reflection of our values: intentional, grounded, and alive with possibility.

Each dinner is anchored in an intentional topic, crafted to nourish both body and mind.
Guests are welcomed with a custom-crafted seasonal drink and time to mingle before settling into the evening. A guided moment of meditation — either at the beginning or close of the night — creates space for presence and grounding. No prior experience is needed; we warmly welcome both first-timers and those familiar with mindfulness practices From there, we move into a facilitated experience centered around or theme. This moment of our dinner offers meaningful dialogue and personal insight.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoy a beautifully curated four-course meal featuring locally sourced, seasonal ingredients — all served with intention, connection, and care. Each course is vibrant in color and rich in theme. We will serve ingredients supportive of the evenings intention.

Chief Dialogue Officer & co-founder Avraham Calhoun, is a conscious leadership and meditation coach focused on improving workplace culture and employee well-being. His global experiences led to founding his business PeaceWith, where he can promote healing, peace-building and diverse community connections across the Globe.

Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of The Conscious Table, Alyssa Edwards, got her start as an operations leader in Healthcare scaling her multi unit leadership across the US. Her passion for community impact, farm to table accessibility and authentic fulfillment, collide as this new dining experience reaches Richmond, VA and beyond

EmmaLee Gough
Executive Chef & co-founder of The Conscious Table , EmmaLee Gough, got her start working as a retreat chef in Costa Rica. Her innovative plant-based cuisine is derived from her international experiences and her time spent studying culinary in Sweden. You will find EmmaLee’s cooking to be mindful, seasonal, vibrant and creative.

Our seasonal ticketed dinners are open to the public and designed for individuals or small groups seeking a shared, community experience. Our team-building experiences are exclusive, private events tailored for corporate leadership groups or teams, focused on enhancing collaboration, connection and growth.

Click on our Events tab to purchase tickets directly on our website. These events have limited seating, so early booking is encouraged and typically discounted. The ticket includes a multi-course meal crafted from locally-sourced ingredients as well as a guided conversation experience & meditation led by our Dialogue parter.

Our events are intimate and seat-limited, so we have a no-refund policy. However, if you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible, and we will reserve your spot at the next dinner. Emergencies will be accommodated.
